Countryside & Moorland
Exmoor is an unspoilt and quiet National Park with fantastic stretches of moorland, wooded valleys and winding rivers. Tarr Steps, Watersmeet, Dunkery Beacon and Lynmouth are a few places well worth a visit.
Beaches
We have some famous sandy beaches nearby, ideal for a family day out or other watersports including surfing. Croyde Bay,Saunton Sands, Putsborough and Woolacombe are the most popular. There are also beautiful little fishing villages to be explored along the coastline including Clovelly and Appledore.
Golfing
For those interested in golf the two most famous golf clubs in the area are Saunton Sands and The Royal North Devon.
Villages and Pubs

Nearby North Molton has an excellent village shop and two pubs. South Molton 3 miles away has a Supermarket, Swimming Pool and Climbing Wall, twice weekly Markets (Thurs & Sat), a Honey Farm, Local Museum and several pubs and interesting shops including an excellent health food shop. The local town of Barnstaple is approximately 30 minutes car ride away.
Gardens
We have many beautiful and interesting gardens to visit. The RHS garden at Rosemoor near Torrington. National Trust gardens at Knighthayes Court, Killerton and Arlington Court. Others worth a visit are Marwood Gardens, Glebe Cottage Garden, Heddon Hall and Hartland Abbey.
